  • Greet customers with specified company greeting and give all customers prompt and courteous service in a friendly manner.
  • Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions.
  • Receive and process cash or credit card payment.
  • Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
  • Maintain cleanliness of store and stock supplies in restrooms.
  • Perform cigarette counts and maintain logs as directed by management.
  • Maintain correct cash levels in register and make timely cash drop per company policy and procedure.
  • Comply with laws and policies related to tobacco and alcohol sales.
  • Maintain fueling area with a focus on safety and customer service.
  • Complete gasoline housekeeping functions, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping and emptying trash.
  • Replenish gasoline/fueling pump island supplies to insure in stock conditions at all times.
  • Properly clean equipment and maintain stock levels in the beverage area.
  • Records waste, prepares in-house transfers, counts inventory and utilizes cooler and freezer temperature check sheet.
  • Cleans kitchen equipment, walk-in coolers, and other designated areas.
  • Request and record customer orders, and compute bills using cash registers, point-of-sale equipment, or pencil and paper as required.
  • Stocks, cleans, prices food merchandise, rotates merchandise and practices first in - first out dated materials usage, as well as excellent presentation of food merchandise.
  • Select food items from serving or storage areas and place them in dishes, on serving trays, or in takeout bags.
  • Reports unsafe food handling acts or conditions to management.
  • Prepares shift reports and other reports required by management.
