Job: Slicer Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Slicer Operator to join our production/food preparation team. The Slicer is responsible for operating slicing machinery to accurately cut products such as meats, cheeses, bread, or other materials to specific weights, thicknesses, and standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and adheres to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate slicing equipment in accordance with company and safety standards.
  • Set up, adjust, and calibrate slicing machines based on product specifications.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Monitor slicing output for proper weight, thickness, and appearance.
  • Maintain cleanliness of slicing machines and work area, following sanitation protocols.
  • Handle products carefully to prevent damage or waste.
  • Follow all food safety procedures including proper handling, labelling, and storage.
  • Record production data such as quantity, waste, and machine settings as required.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow.
