Job description

Education & Qualifications: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must have current Pennsylvania EMT and CPR certifications with three years of experience as an EMT. Must be 18 years of age, have a valid PA Driver's License and be able to work in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs. and a maximum of 200 lbs. on occasion. Must know and abide by Pennsylvania State Department of Health/Division of EMS, BLS Protocols. Must communicate clearly; maintain and project a positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times when interacting with co-workers and guests. A minimum of three years of experience within the department is preferred. Management and/or Leadership experience is preferred, but not required. Must be organized, have excellent interpersonal skills, and follow and enforce policies and procedures. Must be committed to providing excellent customer service. The starting rate of pay is $16.50/hour.
Essential Functions:
  • Oversee team members and the overall operation of the entire department.
  • Adhere and promote all company and department rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Assist the Department Manager and Department Director in Pennsylvania State Department of Health with QRS Licensing and Drug and Device Registrations.
  • Operate the Pont of Sale (POS) register according to the standard operating procedures for the First Aid Department.
  • Assist the Department Manager in ensuring that the team members are abiding by the Pennsylvania State Basic Life Support (BLS) Protocols.
  • Must attend company and department meetings and trainings as scheduled by the Department Director.
  • Provide team members guidance and training on proper department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain employee morale and overall positivity while establishing standards, clear expectations, and limitations between Team Leaders and team members.
  • Maintain the equipment in the First Aid Department. This includes but is not limited to the operation and inspection of department equipment, troubleshooting problems, and cleanliness.
  • Assist the Department Manager in ensuring that team members understand and abide by the overage and shortages policy within the department. Investigate any discrepancies.
  • In the absence of the Department Manager and in conjunction with the Department Director, the Team Leader is responsible for assisting in the employment cycle including, but not limited to hiring, establishing job assignments, discipline, performance review, resignations, and/or termination of team leaders and team members.
  • Complete scheduling, in the absence of the Department Manager, for team members through the When to Work scheduling system according to Child Labor Laws.
  • In the absence of the Department Manager, the Team Leader will review and monitor department time sheets on the Ultipro system for payroll.
  • Enforce adherence of Federal and State Laws, company polices, and department procedures with the Team Leaders and team members.
  • Adhere to and promote safety policies and programs within the company. Report any safety issues to the Department Manager or Department Director.
  • Address and handle guest issues and complaints when necessary.
  • Conduct work within the CenterEdge System to devise purchase orders, complete inventory receipts in conjunction with the vendor invoice, and review daily sales.
  • Ensure proper inventory controls including, but not limited to, conducting audits, monitoring inventory movement, and investigating discrepancies.
  • Safely operate golf cart as required.
  • Must work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, cold.

  • Report to and from work at assigned time.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Must be honest and reliable.
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and assist co-workers on an ongoing basis.
