Part Time โ€“ DDA Nurse โ€“ Delegating Nurse Day Program | Supported Living | Personal Support Location: Maryland Employment Type: Independent Contractor 1099 Compensation: $1000.00 bi-weekly - non-negotiable

About Us Positive Pathways, Inc. provides Day Program, Supported Living, and Personal Support services to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Maryland. We are committed to person centered care, regulatory compliance, and supporting independence and community integration.

Important Requirement Applicants must have prior experience working within the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration DDA system and be knowledgeable in COMAR 10.27.11 and nursing delegation requirements. Applications without DDA experience will not be considered.

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide delegation services across our Day Program, Supported Living, and Personal Support programs. This part time role may integrate with our existing DON position depending on availability and agency needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments in accordance with COMAR 10.27.11

Delegate nursing tasks and train DSPs, CMTs, and CNAs

Complete annual nursing reviews and required documentation updates

Perform monthly MAR and medication cycle reviews

Conduct medication observations and post hospitalization assessments

Provide clinical oversight and issue nursing orders as needed

Maintain on call availability as required

Ensure compliance with DDA, MBON, and COMAR regulations

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Maryland RN license

Minimum 2 years' experience in the DDA field

DDA Nursing certification required

Experience providing delegation in community-based settings

Strong communication and organizational skills

Current CPR and First Aid certification
