Description

The Internal Communications Partner plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment within our organization. The primary responsibilities are to develop communications strategies, and write, publish, and distribute all internal communications. The role creates, writes, and manages content for company-wide communications, including intranet/SharePoint updates, editorial calendar, weekly newsletter and communication tools and resources in support of the goals and objectives of the company.

Develops and executes impactful internal communications strategies to support business goals and objectives, and employee engagement initiatives.

Manages corporate communications channels and internal editorial calendar.

Collaborates with HR stakeholders, business segments, and corporate functions to communicate key initiatives and business priorities clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences.

Leads content strategy and consult on the best delivery method and approach to meet company objectives.

Crafts innovative, engaging content, spanning leadership announcements, videos, slides, newsletters, printed materials, announcements, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) communications, and more Implements a corporate intranet, develops and maintains organizational communication processes for the intranet.

Actively promotes intranet engagement, utilizing analytics to measure and improve effectiveness.

Measures success, tracks and reports metrics, readership and engagement for internal campaigns.

Drives methodologies for effective communication across various work environments.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Organized and able to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, including tailoring content in various voices for different audiences.

Understanding of change management.

Proficient in creating communication products across multiple channels, including video, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, emails.

Ability to build strong relationships with peers and leaders.

In-depth understanding of internal and corporate communications best practices.

Familiarity with internal communications tools and mediums.

This is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
