Cybersecurity Analyst, Information Security Analyst, Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst, Network Defense Analyst, Threat Intelligence Analyst, IT Security Specialist, Vulnerability Analyst, Incident Response Analyst, Security Monitoring Analyst, Cyber Defense Analyst, Infrastructure Security Analyst, etc.

Bachelor's Degree

General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.

• Monitor network traffic for anomalies
• Investigate and resolve security incidents
• Maintain and update security systems
• Generate and analyze security reports
• Assist in developing incident response plans
• Ensure adherence to security policies

• Proficiency in monitoring tools like IDS/IPS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS)
• Knowledge of malware analysis tools
• Ability to interpret security logs
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools

• Experience with advanced threat detection
• Knowledge of forensics methodologies
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
• Experience with SOC workflows
• Familiarity with automation and scripting
• Knowledge of threat intelligence platforms
