Job SummaryThe Cyber Defense Program Operations Lead serves as the operational and execution partner to the Executive Director of Cyber Defense & Investigations (CD&I). This role is responsible for driving operational rigor, execution discipline, planning cadence, and cross domain alignment across the Cyber Defense & Investigations organization.
This position ensures CD&I initiatives, priorities, and investments are executed consistently; dependencies are actively managed; delivery risks are surfaced early; and leadership is equipped with accurate, timely insights to support effective decision making. The role does not directly manage staff but exercises broad influence across operational, engineering, and investigative teams.

NOTE: This is a WFH role. Sponsorship is not available including if you are currently on OPT.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8-10+ years of experience in Information Security, Cyber Defense, Technology Operations, or strategic program leadership (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated experience operating at a principal or senioradvisor level within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strong program execution, operational management, and planning capabilities
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive outcomes without formal authority
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executivelevel synthesis
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fastpaced operational environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cyber defense, security operations, incident response, or threatfocused organizations
  • Familiarity with NIST CSF, cyber defense operating models, or security program maturity frameworks
  • Experience developing operational metrics and executive reporting
  • Experience in program operations, enterprise execution leadership, or strategy execution roles
