Compensation:

$90,000 - $130,000 DOE


Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in criminal defense cases, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices are heard.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build strong, evidence-based defense strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and develop innovative approaches to complex legal challenges.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, keeping them informed and involved in their case progress.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.
  • Negotiate with prosecutors to achieve favorable outcomes for clients, leveraging your advocacy skills.
  • Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings, representing clients with professionalism and confidence.

Qualifications:

What We're Looking For:

  • J.D. and an active Minnesota law license in good standing.

  • 1-3 years of criminal law experience (internships, clerkships, or public defender experience welcome).

  • Strong courtroom presence and litigation mindset.

  • Excellent writing and negotiation skills.

  • High emotional intelligence and client advocacy focus.

  • Strong, highly proficient technical skills.
