Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Diesel Mechanic with 5+ years of hands-on experience servicing a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance across multiple systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and emissions.

Key Responsibilities

· Diagnose, estimate time needed, and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine issues on heavy-duty trucks and trailers (e.g., Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, Western Star)

· Service and troubleshoot emissions systems (EGR, DEF, SCR)

· Perform electrical diagnostics on wiring, sensors, ECMs, and control modules

· Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, fuel systems, and turbochargers

· Inspect and service suspension, braking, and steering systems

· Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime

· Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts usage

· Collaborate with dispatchers, drivers, and other mechanics to ensure timely repairs

· Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
