Position Summary:
The Assembly Technician will primarily focus on the process of building our fertilizer and water treatment equipment, including all activities that facilitate the daily operations of the shop and warehouse, including but not limited to delivering/receiving equipment and chemicals, building assemblies, building sub components, assisting with inventory, repairing and maintaining equipment. Assembly technician will also be responsible for Quality control on all items built. These systems use various component parts that are directly related to our patented equipment and delivery systems.
Essential Duties:
  • Develops an understanding and displays proficiencies with all parts, and components, including the purpose of their construction and ultimate use.
  • Effectively troubleshoots issues of construction of all boards, panels, pumps, relays, etc.
  • Effectively measures and tests final and functionality of equipment to meet DPG quality and control standards.
  • Effectively maintains and repairs equipment, to ensure proper operating conditions and safety.
  • Constructs equipment for support of DPG chemical feed programs in a manner, consistent with established protocols.
  • Actively assists in daily operations as required in all facets including but not limited to: Laboratory supplies, pump returns, repairs, and tracking; inventory of chemicals, field supplies, safety equipment and feed equipment, chemical blending.
  • Effectively and safely operates forklifts, equipment and tools on and off site, to carry out daily operations.
  • Maintains safety in all phases of job performance, at customer sites and at DPG facilities. Maintains copies of product SDS and safety procedures in assembly room.

  • 2-3 years relevant forklift, warehousing and assembly experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and strong time management
  • Electrical background preferred
  • Mechanical proficiency to repair pumps, build DPG systems and equipment
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
