Job description

As a QA Analyst, youโ€™ll optimize quality assurance processes to enhance software performance and reliability. Youโ€™ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive performance testing, documenting results, and maintaining high standards for software quality and user satisfaction.

This is a full-time, hybrid/remote (4 days on-site/1day remote) position located in Irving, TX.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO:

  • Execute end-to-end testing across IT initiatives, from planning through release.
  • Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, estimates, test cases, and scripts.
  • Design and perform integration and system testing for complex applications.
  • Collaborate closely with QA, Development, Environment teams, and Business partners to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Support test planning, execution, defect tracking, and status reporting for program-level efforts.
  • Identify, triage, and help resolve quality issues and defects.
  • Execute application test cases and support issue remediation through resolution.
  • Create and maintain clear, useful documentation, including process flows, data models, diagrams, and technical guides.
  • Partner with Business Analysts and Developers to define test scenarios and validate application functionality.
  • Assist with UAT preparation and execution, and support the transition to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL BRING:

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
  • 7-10 + years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices, performance testing, and validating cloud-based applications in Azure, including testing of integrated services and system dependencies.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain ideas and issues.
  • Clear and effective written communication, producing documentation thatโ€™s easy to follow.
  • High problem awareness, spotting issues early, and taking action to solve them.
  • Strong deductive reasoning, applying logic and best practices to testing challenges.
