Job description

As a Dedicated Operations Representative, you are responsible for managing Strategic Customer/Carrier Accounts within a high-volume brokerage operation. The Dedicated Operations Representative must provide carrier procurement and transportation solutions across multiple modes, improve profitability and provide a high level of customer service. This individual will also develop and foster strategic relationships with an extensive customer/carrier base. At Covenant Transport Solutions, we are committed to servicing our customers and exceeding expectations. Our team members are trained to see the world through the eyes of our customers and transcend the investment of a traditional broker relationship.

Responsibilities

Tactical Responsibilities:

  • Daily management of dedicated customer/carrier relationships and all freight in transit
  • Focus on load management, assigning carriers to loads, tendering shipments, and holding carriers accountable to committed shipments
  • Focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers/carriers through operational and personal relationships
  • Collaborate with assigned carriers on performance metrics, rate negotiation, and commitments as necessary
  • Continuous updating of assigned carrier's network needs, including offering new opportunities to the carrier
  • Identify additional capacity areas within current carrier network
  • Not responsible for sourcing net new capacity

  • Full Pay Range: $40,000.63-$62,120.37
