Dedicated Class A Drivers are professional truck drivers who operate commercial vehicles, typically tractor-trailers, on specific, regular routes for a single customer or company. Unlike over-the-road (OTR) drivers who travel nationwide, dedicated drivers usually have predictable schedules and routes, often returning home more frequently. These drivers must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and are responsible for safely transporting goods, following company protocols, and maintaining their vehicles.
