Group Summary:
The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Skills and Experience Required:
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Training in Lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen facilitation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and project.
  • Training on AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and encourage groups to effective results.
  • Must have good problem solving skills and excellent analytical and statistical skills.
  • Must have good computer skills to include; Microsoft Word, Excel, & Lotus SmartSuite.
  • Must have good math skills. Must have good SPC skills.
  • Must have a positive "can do" attitude and be a self-starter.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and have a high tolerance for stressful situations.
  • Must have the ability to read automotive blueprints and engineering specifications.

Decostar Training Requirements:
You will receive training to perform your job on an on-going basis concurrent with Decostar business operations. Training areas will include safety, quality, continuous improvement and other job specific training that is determined to be an essential part of your job and Decostar business operations.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while sitting for up to eight (8) hours on a continuous basis. This position requires a person to have the ability to stand, walk or climb stairs a minimum of eight (8) hours on a continuous basis. This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and 50 pounds on an infrequent basis. Good vision at a close distance as well as color acuity is required. Must be capable of performing a full range of repetitive motion for up to eight (8) hours a day.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and five (5) or more years of related business experience required.
