Job description

The ideal candidate would bring a concentration of proven dealer experience with industry experience secondary. Someone who possesses a background and proven sales experience in the market; as well as product knowledge of hardwood lumber, hardwood plywood, composite,
decorative panels, and industrial specialty items. Purchasing experience is desirable but not mandatory. A strong emphasis will be placed on communication skills, self-motivation, and self-discipline. 

The individual placed in this position will be expected to represent the company in a professional manner while providing exceptional customer service.

Candidates should also possess an aptitude for computer and mobile applications, as well as understand demand creation, pull-through marketing, business development, new product discovery, identify and develop programs for key products with Branch Management and
present new products, programs and services to Branch Manager for approval. This candidate must develop a process to introduce new products to the market and help determine the best use of co-op monies.  Other favorable attributes would be someone who stays updated on
codes and requirements, continuous education on products and warranties and assists with product knowledge meetings with Dixe customers.
