General Summary:
This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for the researching, designing, developing, and optimizing of video codec and computer vision systems and HW architecture, algorithms, features, logic design, modeling, and design verification. Designs, develops, implements and verifies complex video systems, HW and FW tasks including Video Encoder, Video Decoder, Computer Vision, Video Quality and Features. Performs architecture, standard study, algorithm and feature decomposition to drive requirements and specifications for hardware development. Works with customers and analyzes customer product requirements to define for a new architecture, video and CV modules or modification of an existing design for all addressable markets including mobile, automotive, IoT, and others. Ensures KPI, systems performance, area and power metrics are met. Drives triage of problems to determine root cause and provide recommendations to fix and/or improve. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field.
Pay Range: $128,898.00 - $183,700.00/year
