Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for supporting the manufacture of aerospace gears, gearboxes, and associated hardware by following and executing all written instructions related to the non-automated deburring, as well as standard edge breaks, specifically dimensioned edge breaks and polishing.

Experience and Education

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in an OEM aerospace deburring
  • Reasonable mechanical aptitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certificate from vocational school or college program is a plus

Competencies and Skills

  • Ability to safely use high speed hand deburring tools
  • Skilled with basic hand deburring tools
  • Ability to work with magnification and enhanced lighting instruments
