Job Title: Deburr Technician

Status: Non-exempt (Hourly)

Pay: $18/hr. + DOE, plus shift differential and monthly bonus program is paid when company-wide monthly sales goal is reached (full-time).

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5AM to 5:30PM

Requirements:

No experience required. Prior experience deburring metal parts in a precision job shop is preferred

Experience with hand tools
Ability to quickly complete repetitive tasks under time deadlines
Attention to detail
Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers
Ability to read blueprints a plus
Prior experience running lathes or mills, a plus
**The successful candidate will exhibit the interest in long-term employment and the ability to be cross-trained in other departments.


PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) REQUIREMENTS:

Due to the nature of the deburring process and exposure to airborne dust and particulates, employees are required to wear a company-provided N-95 respirator while performing assigned duties. Candidates must be able to wear this required PPE for extended periods and comply with all safety and respiratory protection requirements.


Job Duties:

Use of various hand tools and power tools including orbital sanders, grinders to remove sharp edges
Wash and tumble metal parts using finishing machinery
Visually inspect parts prior to submitting to Quality Control
Mask areas of parts to be protected from paint
Use of paints and lacquers
Other duties as assigned such as in our Assembly Department
