Job description

    The Tractor Technician is a permanent, full-time position. You will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Technician/Mechanics and Tractor Technician/Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a Licensed Tractor Technician
    • Experience working on tractors as aHeavy Equipment Apprentice or Technician
    • Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this position
    • Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities
    • Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers
    • Support and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship
    • Basic level computer skills (paperless work order entry)
    • Ability to work unsupervised
    • Hold a valid Driver's License.

    • May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag,liftand carry items weighing 50lbsor less.
