Position Details
Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
The Department of Biological Sciences seeks applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor. Area of expertise is open to any biology field with preference given to applicants with an ecology background. The successful applicant will teach lower level courses for majors or non-majors and upper level ecology as needed. This is a 1-year appointment with the possibility of renewal.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Ph.D. in Biology, or related fields. ABD will also be considered.
Experience Required for the Position
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently.
