Job description

Bob Brown Chevrolet is a locally owned and operated regional Des Moines car and truck dealer.  We not only offer sales but also assure brilliant after-sales services for our customers. We also serve as a great dealer for Urbandale, Johnston, Waukee, West Des Moines, Des Moines, Ankeny, and all of Central Iowa. Our commitment to community and service is what brings people to us from all over the Des Moines area.

Job Summary

The Parts Driver delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership.  

Essential Duties:

  • Deliver parts and equipment to customers, other Bob Brown stores, and vendors.
  • Pick up parts and equipment from customers, other Bob Brown stores, and vendors, to be coordinated with the Parts Manager and Parts Consultants.
  • Obtain signatures from recipients at the time of delivery.
  • Unload the truck each night and turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
  • Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.

 Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts.
  • Professional personal appearance.
