Job description

Summary

Safely transport vehicles to and from the dealerships from around the Tri-State area including Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

Responsibilities

Transport vehicles to and from the dealerships.

  • Drives vehicles and delivers or picks them up from around the area, including Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
  • Operates both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
  • Keeps a timely dealer trade route.
  • Uses cell phone and/or operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
  • Keeps a record of trips and destination or pick-up point.
  • Notifies sales manager of any damage the vehicles may have when transporting.
  • Ensure all items (keys, manuals, etc.) are accounted for on pickup and delivery.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.

Requirements

  • HS Graduation or equivalent
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Extensive experience safely operating a vehicle.

Excellent customer service and communication skills

In accordance with RCW 49.44.240 this position is identified as Safety Sensitive and is subject to pre-employment drug screening including cannabis.
