As a Lot Attendant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our inventory is clean, organized, and ready for customers while supporting both our Sales and Service Departments.

  Responsibilities
  • Move new and pre-owned vehicles safely throughout the dealership lot
  • Organize and maintain vehicle inventory according to dealership standards
  • Prepare vehicles for display, customer delivery, and test drives
  • Wash, vacuum, and perform light detailing on vehicles as needed
  • Fuel gas-powered vehicles and ensure electric vehicles are charged and ready
  • Check tire pressure, fluid levels, and battery condition on inventory vehicles
  • Install dealer plates, window stickers, and promotional materials
  • Transport vehicles between dealership locations, service departments, auctions, and vendors
  • Assist with customer vehicle deliveries by ensuring every vehicle is clean and presentation-ready
  • Maintain accurate key control and vehicle location records
  • Support the Service Department by moving customer vehicles to and from service lanes
  • Keep the dealership lot, parking areas, and walkways clean and organized, including snow and ice removal when needed
  • Report vehicle damage, maintenance concerns, or inventory issues to management
  • Follow all dealership safety policies and safe driving procedures
  Qualifications
  • Previous dealership, porter, lot attendant, or automotive experience is preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
