Reportingto the Games Manager/Pit Supervisor/Pit Boss, the Table GamesDealer-Tainer functions within the regular Table Games environment and thedealer in the Pulse/electronic environment, both aspects are responsiblefor dealing games to guests in accordance with Alberta Gaming Liquor &Cannabis (AGLC) Terms and Conditions while providing excellent and engagingcustomer service.ย ย This role is critical to the success of ourbusiness and always maintains a professional manner.ย 

Responsibilities andDuties: Table Games Dealer

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Welcomesguests to the table and deals games, including card, dice, tile and otherapproved games, in accordance with AGLC Terms and Conditions.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Respondsto guest issues and escalates concerns as required.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Monitorschips and cash and ensures the integrity of the game.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Observesproblematic guest behaviors and reports them to the Supervisor as required.


ย Promotesand maintains the highest levels of integrity and customer service, reportingconcerns to management promptly.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Actsas a strong team player and exemplifies outstanding guest service for internaland external guests.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Develops,cultivates and maintains strong working relationships with guests, ownership,employees, AGLC, the community and charitable organizations.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Completesand maintains the responsibilities and duties of a Table Games Dealer.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Completeselectronic opening, closing and game maintenance activities in Pulse Arena whencommencing or ending a shift.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Activelypromotes marketing campaigns, department promotions, events and relatedinitiatives while assigned Dealer-Tainer duties.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Assessesand responds to players in the Pulse/electronic environment to ensure they areengaged and entertained.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Providesan enhanced player experience focused on entertainment gaming.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Performsother duties as assigned or directed.

Education andExperience

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Minimumhigh school education or a suitable combination of education and experience.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Minimumsix (6) months of dealing experience required in one or more of the followinggames:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Blackjack

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Baccarat

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Roulette

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Publicspeaking experience is considered a strong asset.ย 

Skills and Abilities

Job Requirements

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Mustbe a minimum of 18 years of age.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Abilityto successfully pass a criminal background check.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Currentand valid AGLC gaming worker registration, or ability to successfully become aregistered gaming worker.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย RequiredAGLC certifications include Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Certification and DealUs In Phase 1.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย AGLCcertifications including Deal Us In Phase 2 and ProServe are considered assets.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Readyand willing to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights,weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Knowledgeof AGLC Terms and Conditions and Operating Guidelines.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Knowledgeand ability to clearly explain operating house rules to guests and employees.

General Work Conditionsand Physical & Mental Requirements

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Stand/Sit:Must be able to remain in a stationary seated or standing position for most ofthe shift. Table rotations may not include seated roles and may requirestanding throughout the shift.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Walk/Mobility:Must be able to move throughout employee and public areas of the casino.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Fine Motor Skills: Continuous tactile use of both hands and fingers to deal cards, paychips and complete related tasks.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Speaking/Hearing: Frequently communicates with guests and employees throughout the shiftand must be able to exchange accurate information professionally.
