Overview

The Manager of Quality Assurance, will lead our QA team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software products. This role will drive innovation in test automation, improve efficiency and coverage, and ensure seamless collaboration between QA, development, and product teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, experience with AI automation technologies, and a passion for modernizing QA practices.

Job Duties

  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of AI-driven testing tools to enhance automation, accuracy, and efficiency in QA processes.
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for integrating AI into existing test frameworks and workflows.
  • Train and mentor QA team members on the use of AI tools, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC
  • Identify and mitigate risks early through proactive testing strategies and robust regression coverage.
  • Report on quality metrics, including defect trends, test coverage, and release readiness, to senior leadership.
  • Stay current with industry trends in AI and QA automation, recommending new tools and approaches as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with offshore and distributed teams to maintain consistent quality standards globally.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2+ years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (Agile/Scrum environments preferred).
  • Experience implementing or scaling AI tools in QA environments.
  • Expertise in test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated testing and deployment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
