Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the DDD compliance process for newly hired Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)

  • Receive DSP files from the recruiter after the DSP has completed the hiring and orientation process

  • Review files to determine what DDD compliance requirements are outstanding

  • Coordinate and track required DDD compliance items, including applicable:

    • Background and fingerprinting requirements

    • Drug screenings

    • Driver abstracts

    • Required DDD/DSP trainings

    • Employment and compliance documentation

  • Follow up directly with DSPs regarding outstanding compliance requirements

  • Maintain accurate records of completed and outstanding requirements

  • Monitor ongoing and expiring DSP compliance requirements

  • Communicate regularly with the Owner regarding compliance status and concerns

  • Notify management when a DSP has successfully completed the DDD compliance process and is ready to move forward for work

  • Turn completed DSP files over to the appropriate team member for the next step in the onboarding process

  • Work with the Operations Manager to ensure required documents are uploaded and maintained in SharePoint

  • Help maintain an organized and efficient DDD compliance process as the program continues to grow

What We Are Looking For

Prior NJ DDD compliance experience is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have working knowledge of NJ DDD requirements and DSP compliance

  • Understand the onboarding and compliance requirements for Direct Support Professionals

  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Be highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Take initiative and follow through without needing constant reminders

  • Be comfortable communicating with DSPs and management

  • Be able to track multiple employees and compliance deadlines simultaneously

  • Have strong computer and electronic recordkeeping skills

  • Be comfortable working with SharePoint and electronic employee files

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee information

This position is best suited for someone who already understands DDD compliance. We are specifically seeking an experienced individual who can step into the role, learn our internal workflow, and independently manage the compliance process.
