Job description

As a DCS Customer Lead, you will be responsible to direct activity of exempt and non-exempt members of a team building products for an Auto OEM customer. You will be a member of a team with some direct and indirect management responsibilities.
The base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 10% of base salary. Actual benefit offerings confirmed at the time of hire.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with customer technical and engineering organization.
  • Project management responsibility for new color and new product launches
    • Work within a team to schedule and prioritize work for their customer to ensure high quality and on time execution
    • Support lab operations as a part of a mid-sized regional technical team
    • Ensure on time customer deliverables in product approval process
  • Work with PPG commercial team and product management to define priorities and implement account technology roadmap
  • Application of root cause analysis and BPI tools to lead resolution of manufacturing and field issues.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Science Degree in Chemistry or related Engineering or Science field with 5 or more years of experience in coatings
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
