Leidos currently has an opening for Weapons and Tactics Analyst located at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. This position is part of a large Military Intelligence Program supporting the USAF Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.

Note: This is a contingent job posting for vacancies as they arise within the program.

Primary Responsibilities.

  • Develops, coordinates, and implements techniques and procedures (TTP); support the development and update of Air Force Instructions, exercise designed learning objectives.
  • The successful applicant must possess a thorough understanding of Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) operations, AF Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) policy, guidance and operations, and Intelligence Community Directive.
  • The applicant will be a wing-level advocate at Weapons and Tactics (WEPTAC) events and collaborate best practices and initiatives with internal / external AF DCGS stakeholders.
  • The applicant must possess a general understanding of systems integration, information exchanges and applications at AF DCGS and Air Operations Center operating levels.
  • They will help align training and exercise designed learning objectives (DLO) with operational mission initiatives; participate in Headquarters Air Combat Command-led exercise planning and execution; and capture lessons learned.

Basic Qualifications.

  • Bachelors Degree and 8 years of experience or a Masters and 6 years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience / familiarity with Jira / Confluence.
  • Must have a current TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Experience with DCGS operations.
