About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Program Director to join our DCF Support and Stabilization Services team. This leadership role works closely with the Program Director to oversee daily operations, supervise and support staff, and ensure high quality services for youth and families experiencing serious emotional and behavioral challenges.
What You'll Do
โ€ข Support the daily operations of the DCF Support and Stabilization program
โ€ข Provide supervision, coaching, and support to team members and interns
โ€ข Coordinate referrals, case assignments, and caseload distribution with DCF and the Program Director
โ€ข Monitor documentation, productivity, service delivery, and program compliance
โ€ข Support staff with high-risk situations and coordinate with DCF, hospitals, schools, emergency services, and community providers
โ€ข Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and retention
โ€ข Support quality improvement, program development, budgeting, and new initiatives
โ€ข Serve as Acting Program Director and provide on-call coverage as assigned
What We're Looking For
โ€ข Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field preferred
โ€ข LICSW, LMHC, BCBA, or other relevant licensure preferred
โ€ข Minimum of five years of experience working with youth and families experiencing serious emotional and behavioral challenges, including community based or in home services
โ€ข Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
โ€ข Experience working with DCF and knowledge of community resources preferred
โ€ข Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Valid Massachusetts driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the service area
