Job description

Pay Range: $22.09 to $28.80
Shift: Daytime
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip, Inc. is currently seeking Full Time Material Handlers for our BRAND NEW DeForest Distribution Center that opened in November of 2025. Our 286,000 square foot Distribution Center plays a key role in our vertical integration efforts. The Distribution Center will have a team of 200+ co-workers responsible for providing approximately 90 percent of the various products sold at our store locations.
Join our Distribution Center crew where you will be responsible for accurately pulling orders in our freezer zone or dry side. The position involves using a Power Pallet Jack or Reach Lift.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time position working 4, 10-hour shifts beginning at 7:00 A.M. to end of shift. This schedule includes weekends, holidays and possible over-time opportunities as well.
This position offers a $5 an hour premium for working weekends (7:30pm Friday through 6:59am on Monday). Also a $1 an hour premium while working in the freezer.
Qualifications:
  • Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks
  • Work well alone and with others
  • Possess basic math aptitude
  • Read, understand, and interpret numbers
  • Accurate / detail oriented
  • Work in a fast paced environment
  • Work in a safety conscious environment
  • Adhere to sanitation / hygiene standards
  • Prior order selection, Power Pallet Jack and Reach Lift experience is a plus.

Physical qualifications: lift/carry repeatedly up to 60 pounds to 60 inches, 40 pounds to 72 inches, and 20 pounds to 82"; push/pull 60 pounds of force; bend, twist, reach, stoop frequently; work in -20 - 90+ degree F temperatures.
