Earning a DBT certification typically involves completing specialized training, supervised practice, and passing an examination. This certification is valuable for mental health professionals who want to show proficiency in using DBT principles and techniques in clinical practice. It can enhance career opportunities and ensure adherence to evidence-based treatment standards.
