Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to manage diverse databases in an AWS cloud environment. The role requires expertise in various database technologies and a strong understanding of performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security best practices.

• At least ten (10) years of experience as a Senior Database Administrator, managing diverse databases in an AWS cloud environment.
• Expertise in administering Aurora Postgres, SQL Server RDS, Self-Managed SQL Server, and MongoDB databases.
• Strong understanding of database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services, IAM roles, and security groups for database administration.
• Experience with database migration tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address database-related issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
