Job description

Be part of the opening team at Hershey Inn & Suites, the newest addition to The Official Resorts Of Hersheypark®, opening Spring 2026. Located just minutes from the Park, Hershey Inn & Suites features 130 rooms including 7 suites, complimentary continental breakfast, an indoor pool, arcade, and fitness center.

The Night Auditor of Hershey Inn & Suites is responsible for conducting the front-of-the-house and heart-of-the-house financial audit for the property.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Post and balance room, food and beverage, and related taxable charges*

  • Reconcile and balance  all daily postings and activities*

  • Post and balance accounts receivable vouchers*

  • Generate and review daily reports for room revenue breakdown, packages, food & beverage, and retail postings.*

  • Review daily Front Desk activity and reports, ensuring compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts standard operating procedures, policies, and controls: Cash, Check, Credit, Bank, and Vending handling policies. Addressing discrepancies/ variances in a timely manner.*

  • Assist in overseeing and monitoring the ticketing process, including inventory, audit, and financial controls.

  • Ensure compliance with Department and HE&R operational policies and procedures as well as corporate Risk Management standards (MSDS, HazCom, OSHA, etc.) relating to the department. Maintaining retention records to HE&R standards. *

  • Answer guest phone calls and arrange wake-up calls*

  • Welcome, check-in, and check out guests*

  • Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, and reservations

  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns to ensure a high level of customer service. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

  • Post-Employment - Must obtain Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) Certification.

  • High School Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in guest customer service.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Night Audit or hotel accounting experience is preferred, but not necessary.

  • Must be able to communicate well with both guests and employees.

  • Must be able to work independently and make decisions independently.

  • Familiarity with computerized front office systems, policies, and procedures preferred.

  • Must present a professional image appropriate to the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts standards.

Job Demands:

  • Physical requirements include standing, finger dexterity, good hearing, performing detailed work at close distances, and communicating verbally.

  • Shift includes 11 PM to 7 AM five days per week; weekends and holidays included.
