Job description

Position Overview:

Perform a wide range of inside sales rep duties to stimulate new sales by creating, monitoring, and managing orders with correct pricing and product availability. Initiate sales and provide customers with quotes, sets up satellite phone (Iridium) activations, offers new customers credit terms, and is the liaison between customers, company credit departments, and sales teams.

Incumbents are expected to manage responsibilities with an awareness of customer service and support, sales goals, product delivery, and warranty issues. Services will be delivered and work completed in an effective and timely manner per customer and company expectations.


Roles & Responsibilities:

-Generate inbound and outbound sales with established and prospective customers.

-Takes initiative to provide proactive customer support from first contact thru order completion, to product receipt, ensuring continuous product and customer support.

-Takes action and creates solutions to resolves complaints and removes road blocks for customers, researches best delivery method and delivery status to meet customer deadlines.

-Research and quote pricing for products accessories, options, warranty(ies), licensing.

-Offers products and promotions to meet customer needs and reach sales goals.

-Input customer profile, orders, account, rebilling, and other data into computer system and spread sheets. File and organize papers and desk area.

-Other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience:

-Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one year of sales experience.

-Experience using Microsoft Outlook (e-mail & calendar), Excel, data base software,

-Intranet, Internet, Vendor websites, telephone, copier, and other standard business equipment and software.


Licenses, Certifications:

-Valid Driver's License
