Job description

This is a full-time position with split duties throughout the week.

This position is 60% (3 days) Warehouse Associate in our Rancho Cucamonga Warehouse and 40% (2 days) driving for deliveries and pickups. (May included additional driving days to cover for other driver absences.)

Must have a clean driving license/record and consent to and pass a background check, driver's history report, and drug screening.


The Rancho Cucamonga Warehouse environment offers varied duties not limited to, but including:

  • picking
  • packing
  • Experience handling and driving flatbed vehicles
  • will-call and customer interaction
  • loading/unloading containers
  • shipping
  • freight and logistics
  • use of reach forklift
  • use of sit down forklift

Must be able to carry out regular and repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) as well as the ability to carry out for most of the day twisting, pushing, pulling, and bending.

Must have forklift experience (both sit down and reach/stand up)

Use of Pallet trucks, RF scanners, label machines and a PC will be required for which training can be offered to the right candidate.

Driving responsibilities also include:

  • Operating, checking, and keeping the vehicle clean and in good working order to meet or exceed OSHA, DOT, State, and Federal regulations
  • Registration to an agreement to DOT medicals, selection and Pull Notice programs as required
  • Not having any more than 3 driving infractions on record within the last 5 years to maintain company auto insurance coverage
  • Driving courteously and safely at all times
  • Reporting any incidents, accidents, vehicle damage, property damage to the Warehouse Manager / General Manager immediately during or in the moments after the occurrence.
  • Adhering to any customer site requirements (signing in/wearing of PPE/restricted areas/speed limits)
  • Professional and positive communication with customers vendors and other road users at all times be '' Positively Representing the "face of ITP".
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the job as our customers depend on timely deliveries and pickups
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, twist, bend, and move for all the safe operations of the vehicle and its load
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of driving
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull/bend up to 50lbs regularly when not driving and when assisting customers unloading or when loading the vehicle.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be "safe" when handling loads and moving around in the warehouse.
  • Ability to drive in various road conditions safely and patiently.
  • Ability to secure loads and cargo safely on the vehicle with the use of a load bar
  • Use of GPS system for communications and for driver safety monitoring
  • Strict adherence to cell phone requirements and usage while driving
  • Ensure paperwork accompanies all deliveries and collections, is signed/accurate and that returned paperwork gets to the correct places.
  • Ensuring that your driving license is maintained in full, as required, and that any accidents or license changes/points/suspensions are reported to the Warehouse Manager as soon as they are known ideally within 48 hours.
  • Returns, damages and missed deliveries are managed promptly.

      Person Requirements:

      REQUIRED:

      • Fork Lift (sit down and reach) 1 year
      • Valid CDL Class C or better (no more than 1 point)
      • Strong phone/tablet/technology skills
      • Strong in-person communication skills
      • A can-do attitude
      • Strong attention to detail/levels of accuracy
      • Ability to pre-empt, identify and meet customer needs and requirements
      • Strong problem-solving ability
      • Excellent time management skills

      DESIRABLE
