Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park is Hiring a Pet Care Attendant!

Position Details

  • Role: Pet Care Attendant
  • Status: Part-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience

Then you might just be the perfect fit for our Pet Care Attendant role here at Klondike Kennels! We’re searching for someone who is enthusiastic about animals and ready to join a supportive, fun-loving team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining the health, happiness, and overall well-being of the furry guests staying with us.

Availability Requirements:

Must be flexible and available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, school breaks and holidays; including before, day of, and the days after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and Spring Break

Job Requirements:

  • Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, even when the weather is not perfect
  • Must be able to walk large dogs (50 lbs+) Got muscles? You’ll need them!
  • Ability to handle a variety of breeds and sizes, from tiny house cats and Chihuahuas to big Great
  • Danes with confidence
  • While an animal care background is desired, a deep love for pets and a willingness to learn will go a long way.
  • Don’t worry, we’ll show you the ropes (and the leashes).

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Exercising and engaging with dogs
  • Monitoring canine health and behavior for any changes
  • Observing cats for any signs they’ve mastered world domination (or just ensuring they’re content and healthy)
  • Maintaining a clean environment because pets love a good, tidy space just as much as we do
