About Us

At AchieveBetter ABA Therapy, we help individuals with autism reach their fullest potential through compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. We're growing across North Carolina, and we're looking for dedicated RBTs and RBT candidates who want to make a real difference in clients' lives while building a lasting career in ABA.

Position Overview

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at AchieveBetter ABA, you'll implement individualized therapy plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), working directly with clients in home settings. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on clinical experience, ongoing mentorship, and a clear path toward growth in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA therapy plans as designed by BCBAs, focused on skill development, behavior modification, and client growth

  • Conduct one-on-one support sessions with clients in home and clinical settings

  • Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behavior to support ongoing assessment and treatment adjustments

  • Collaborate with BCBAs to refine therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs

  • Provide consistent, supportive feedback to clients and families to maintain a positive, productive environment

  • Attend team meetings and ongoing training to stay current with ABA best practices

  • Maintain ethical guidelines and professional standards in all aspects of therapy delivery

Qualifications

  • Active RBT certification

  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred

  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Patient, compassionate, and committed to helping clients achieve their goals

Compensation

  • $23–$30/hour, based on certification status, experience, and case requirements
