Location: CasaBlanca Resort & Casino - Mesquite, NV | Department: Food Service

Status: Non-Tipped Position

Join our Feel Good Brands team as a WOK Cook and help deliver hot, fresh, high-quality meals in a fast-paced, upbeat setting! We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who understand the importance of food safety, quality, and consistency.


Position Summary:


As a WOK Cook for Feel Good Brands, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive food that is fresh, flavorful, and served in a clean and safe environment. You will work in close coordination with fellow crew members to prepare food according to operational standards while upholding our commitment to exceptional cleanliness and safety practices.


Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Quality:

  • Ability to work on a WOK
  • Prepare all food items in accordance with company recipes, procedures, and food safety standards.
  • Ensure all food products are cooked to the proper temperature and meet quality presentation standards.
  • Monitor and restock ingredients and supplies throughout shift to maintain efficient operation.

Health, Safety & Cleanliness:

  • Adhere strictly to SNHD (Southern Nevada Health District) food safety requirements and all local, state, and federal health codes.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and work environment, including regular cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment, utensils, surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
  • Follow all guidelines for proper food storage, handling, and disposal.
  • Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures to avoid hazards such as burns, slips, and cuts.
  • Complete and document daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks and checklists.

Team Collaboration & Guest Service:

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with other team members, managers, and guests.
  • Support the team during peak hours with flexibility, urgency, and a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency while remaining focused and detail-oriented.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid SNHD Food Handler's card (NV health card)  
  • Valid TAM Card (alcohol awareness card) - Specific Locations ONLY
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Prior kitchen, fast food, or quick-service experience is a plus, but not required
