Job description

Job Description: RECEIVING ASSOCIATE:
Job Information:
• Shift day: Monday – Friday | 6AM to 3PM
• The first shift (Onboarding) starts at 8AM and goes on until 3PM.
• Safety toe shoes are required every shift (Safety vests and working gloves provided on site).
• Dress code: casual attire (jeans, hoodies, T-shirts, etc.). Safety is the priority, so avoid wearing loose clothing or accessories that can potentially get caught in machinery. Safety toe shoes are required.
• Pay rate: $20.00/Hour.
What You Will Do:
• Maintain and improve warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Order filling, including wire cutting & pipe order filling.
• Safe forklift/equipment usage
• Commitment to One Item, One Bin and “Just Face It!” best practices.
• Assisting with loading/offloading freight or delivery trucks
• Other warehouse duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
• Pro-active and self-motivated mindset
• Willingness to learn from mistakes to increase productivity and accuracy.
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance.
• Ability to learn use of handheld (RF) scanners and operating systems.
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Team oriented.
• Safety awareness
• Desire to learn and grow in responsibilities.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment such as: Order Picker, Reach Truck, Sit-down Forklift and Stand-Up Forklift.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
• Warehouse environment
• Usual 40 hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance
• Temp to Hire opportunities depending on performance and business needs.
