Job Title: Panel Shop Assembler $20-$22 (Daylight)

Job Description

The Panel Shop Assembler builds and wires control panels for filtration systems in an industrial environment. This role requires careful attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret technical documentation, and the skilled use of hand and power tools to ensure high-quality, reliable assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Wire and assemble control panels for filtration systems according to engineering specifications and production standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, interrelated wiring schematics, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials to complete panel wiring accurately.
  • Follow detailed wiring diagrams to route, terminate, and label conductors within control panels.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to cut, strip, crimp, fasten, and assemble components.
  • Verify that all components, wiring, and assemblies match the Bill of Materials and drawing specifications.
  • Inspect completed panels for quality, functionality, and adherence to company standards before release.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve assembly or wiring issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with shop and safety procedures.
  • Document work as required, including noting any deviations, corrections, or updates to panel builds.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated experience wiring and assembling panels for filtration systems or similar industrial control applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials.
  • Proficiency working with interrelated wiring schematics and assembly documentation to complete control panel wiring.
  • Skilled use of hand and power tools for mechanical assembly and electrical wiring tasks.
  • Prior PLC instrumentation set-up experience.
  • 1–2 years of relevant production experience, a two-year technical degree, or a combination of related experience and education.
  • Strong mechanical assembly skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently within defined processes.
  • Commitment to working safely in an industrial environment.

  • Electrical wiring experience
  • Two-year technical degree in a related field is preferred when combined with relevant experience.
  • Experience with industrial control panels, filtration systems, or related equipment is advantageous.
  • Ability to troubleshoot wiring or assembly issues using technical documentation.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with production and engineering teams.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple builds and maintain accurate documentation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
