Job description

If you can run a CNC machine, do your own setups, and read a print, this Machine Operator role puts those skills to work building equipment you will spot on jobsites all over the country.

You will work for a company that has been building aerial lift equipment in the Puget Sound area since 1966. Their boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers are used worldwide in construction, aviation, entertainment, warehousing, and government work. On the fab floor you will run lasers, press brakes, lathes, mills, and tube benders in a fast paced environment built on lean manufacturing, where safety, quality, and a clean work area matter as much as output.

This is a hands-on Machine Operator role for someone who takes pride in hitting cycle time without giving up accuracy. Related experience or technical training in machining is a strong fit here, along with a basic working understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems. In this temp-to-hire role you get a four-day work week, a published wage scale with raises already on the calendar, and a company known for promoting from within, plus an on-site wellness center and a modern facility built with employees in mind.

CNC Machine Operator Duties
  • Operate CNC and related machining and fabrication equipment including Amada and Mazak lasers, Amada and Niagara press brakes, Mazak lathes, Mazak and Okuma mills, and an Eaton Leonard tube bender

  • Perform setups and tooling selection including cutting turret, inserts, punch and die sets, and forming die sets

  • 5:00am to 3:30pm
  • 5:30am to 4:00pm
Overtime: up to 2 hours after your shift, plus Friday shifts of up to 10 hours, often optional and occasionally required.

Pay
$26.71 per hour to start, on a published wage scale with scheduled increases at 6, 12, and 18 months and beyond.
