Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Nursing Tech to join our day shift team. The Nursing Tech is a key member of our care team working alongside nurses, doctors, therapists, and medical psychologists to provide direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and the plan of care as directed by a licensed practitioner.

Compensation

  • Pay Range: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
  • Night or weekend shifts are eligible for shift differential pay. Differential rates vary by shift hours and are added to the base hourly rate.
  • This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market-competitive compensation.
  • Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Qualifications and Skills

Preferred

  • Experience in acute care or inpatient rehab experience as a nursing assistant or aide

Education/Certifications

Required

  • Completion of a state recognized CNA program
  • Nurse Aide licensure in the Commonwealth of VA
  • BLS HCP certification or equivalent
