  • Validate repairs through proper testing and follow-up to ensure long-term effectiveness

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

  • Execute preventive maintenance (PM) tasks per documented procedures and schedules
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or improvement opportunities in PM plans and recommend changes
  • Support predictive maintenance activities (vibration, temperature, lubrication condition, visual standards) as applicable
  • Ensure equipment is returned to operation in a safe, repeatable, and maintainable condition

Continuous Improvement & Documentation

  • Accurately document work performed, parts used, findings, and corrective actions in the CMMS
  • Provide input on equipment history, repeat failures, and improvement opportunities
  • Support reliability initiatives such as precision maintenance, lubrication standards, mechanical alignment, and error-proofing
  • Participate in reliability, safety, and improvement projects as assigned

Fabrication & Mechanical Work

  • Fabricate, modify, and repair mechanical components and tooling as required
  • Perform basic welding, cutting, and fitting using approved procedures
  • Support installation, relocation, and upgrade of equipment and facility assets

Safety & Standards

  • Follow all safety policies, LOTO procedures, and equipment standards
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions, equipment risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain high workmanship standards and leave equipment cleaner and safer than found

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
  • Working knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies and failure modes
  • Comfortable working in a CMMS-driven maintenance environment
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Preferred

  • Industrial Mechanic Certification, Millwright Certification, or equivalent technical training
  • 3โ€“5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
  • Experience with:
o Root cause analysis techniques (5 Whys, Fishbone, fault tree, etc.)
o Reliability or continuous improvement programs
    o CNC machine maintenance
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting work
  • Technical degree, apprenticeship, or certification strongly preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to work varied shifts as business needs dictate
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching
