Job description

Summary - CNC Machinist: We have openings for experienced CNC Mill and Lathe Machinists. This role is responsible for producing precision parts for the aerospace industry utilizing CNC machinery. This will include setting up, operating, and checking produced parts for quality assurance against blueprints or other shop specifications.

Shift: Monday - Thursday 4pm to 2:30am

Responsibility Summary – CNC Machinist:

  • Set up mills and/or lathes for new production runs.
  • Operate mills and/or lathes to produce finished parts.
  • Check parts for quality assurance using blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to verify specifications.

Qualification Summary – CNC Machinist:

  • High school diploma required; any secondary education in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Ability to perform setups proficiently
  • Programming experience preferred 
  • High mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
  • Experience performing quality assurance checks using measurement tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
  • Ability to regularly lift 30-50 pounds.
