Security Officer - Day Shift

As a Security Officer - Day shift in Gresham, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Day Time

Monday 05:30 AM - 01:15 PM

Tuesday 05:30 AM - 01:15 PM

Wednesday 05:30 AM - 01:15 PM

Thursday 05:30 AM - 01:15 PM

Friday 05:30 AM - 01:15 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry and exit, and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Support the orderly movement of personnel, visitors, and deliveries while maintaining awareness of changing site conditions and following Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
