Position Summary

As a Game Room Floor Clerk, you will serve guests by maintaining order and cleanliness in the game room and creating a welcoming atmosphere. While carrying out the job duties listed below, you will contribute to our continued business success by providing unsurpassed guest service, personal and professional dedication to represent, support, and protect the Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort brand.

This position may be required to work weekends and holidays.

Hours for this position include various day (7:15am-3:15pm/11am-6:15pm) and evening (2pm-11:15pm).

Key Accountabilities

Adherence to Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort quality standards, operating systems/procedures & safety regulations/requirements.

Promote a safe and healthy work environment and superior guest experience.



Core Responsibilities

  • · Represent, support, and protect the Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort brand.
  • Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist in seating guests or directing guests to open gaming machines and/or areas as needed.
  • · Always provide a friendly and warm customer service. Answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, service, or providing or explaining other resort amenities.
  • · Observe guests to fulfill any additional request and to anticipate any additional needs.
  • · Clean and service game machines as needed.
  • · Monitor clean and restock beverage station.
  • Handle any guest cashing gaming tickets and making change requests as needed. Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.
  • · Maintain floor cleanliness. Seats positioned in front of machines, discarded tickets off the floor, cups and food discarded, trash receptacles emptied.
  • · Observe and perform safety tasks-trip hazards, spills, broken seats etc.
  • · Assist in cleaning and wiping down all areas of gaming.
  • · Notify a Go To, supervisor or manager immediately of any guest complaints/accidents and/or issues.
  • · Monitor guest traffic and behaviors.
  • · Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.
  • · Assist all other team members in any duties as requested.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. One year of fast, paced, high volume cash handling and customer service experience are required.
  • · The ability to use basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting using whole numbers and United States currency.
  • · The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  • · The ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner.


Physical Requirements

  • · The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team members must wear all the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • · While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, and move for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
