Job description

Lead a welding team at a one-roof shop that has been building custom metal in Byron, GA since 1982.

What you'll do:
  • Lead and pace a welding team building racks, weldments, frames and structures
  • Set up and run MIG welds and FANUC robotic welding cells
  • Read blueprints and weld symbols; check fit-up and weld quality
  • Train and mentor welders โ€” including people learning the trade
  • Keep your area safe, clean and on schedule
What we're looking for:
  • Experienced MIG welder with lead or crew-leader experience
  • Comfortable reading blueprints and weld symbols
  • AWS certification a plus โ€” we support it
  • You want to build and lead a team, not just run a bead

Schedule & what we offer: Full-time, direct hire in Byron, GA. Overtime available. Shifts: Monday-Thursday day shift (four 10-hour days), Friday-Sunday weekend shifts, and night shifts available. We provide training, a retention bonus, and a real path to grow.
