Job description

American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with Neuro/Spine experience for a hospital Main OR position requiring 2 years of experience and BLS certification.
Job Details
• Work in a hospital Main OR unit specializing in Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Vascular surgeries,
• 24-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios,
• Day shift from 06:00 to 14:30,
• On-call requirements for weekend coverage, evenly distributed by the coordinator,
• Uses Cerner EMR,
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist,
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association,
• License required if applicable,
• Experience with Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Vascular surgical procedures required,
• Experience with Globus and Mazor robotics for spine surgery required,
• Experience with Mako robotics for joint procedures required,
• Experience with craniotomy and endovascular procedures required,
• Davinci robotics and maxillofacial experience preferred,
Additional Information
• Support surgical procedures across Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Vascular specialties,
• Work within a Main OR setting known for advanced surgical care including minimally invasive procedures,
• Scrub color requirement of ceil blue or royal blue,
• Fleece, hoods, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and nail polish are not permitted attire,
• Facility does not accept local candidates,
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
