ABOUT DOYLE MANUFACTURING
For four generations Doyle Manufacturing has maintained a high standard of excellence and continuous innovation, while producing fertilizer equipment, thus promoting our customer's ability to nourish the world. We are a family owned and operated company in Palmyra, MO, USA, directly located on Hwy 61.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Assemblers ensure that parts are fitted correctly to meet the requirements and specifications of the final product by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and parts lists to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Studying and interpreting technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Reading and confirming the parts lists, interpreting measurements, and verifying specifications.
• Assembling components and ensuring all parts are fitted correctly for quality assurance.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs.
• Keeping the workspace clean and organized.
• Conserving resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste.
• Have mechanical knowledge or background working with tools.
• Use various tools to make or repair parts and products.
• Work well within the line or group to assemble products.
• Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established quality procedures.
• Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Positive, Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate.
• Be here, be on time, and do the best of your ability, while working in a safe manner on a day-to-day basis.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Tape measure and blueprint reading skills.
• Prior assembly experience
WORKING CONDITIONS
Typically working in a manufacturing environment. Will at times be exposed to heat, cold, inclement weather, noise, vibration, welding sparks, grease, oil, and diesel fuel. Will often be required to stand for extended periods of time while working in a fast-paced environment, especially when working with tight deadlines.
