Job description

Title : Content Coordinator 5

Duration : 12 months
•Candidate Location Requirements: Fully remote, any US time zone
• Preferred a college degree

Job Description-

Typical Day in the Role
•Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to manage web content production, content authoring, publishing, quality assurance, and website updates through Contentful and other CMS platforms.
•Key projects: This role will contribute to web content publishing, website launches, sprint releases, product launches, web page design implementation, and content management initiatives.
Job Description:
Content Author is responsible for building, QA'ing, and publishing web pages in Contentful as part of the Consumer Web content workflow. This role owns the page-build stage of the pipeline — the current workflow runs mapping → assets → authoring → QA → publish → localization, and this position is the authoring specialist focused on building pages, QA, and publishing, working alongside a content-ops partner focused on assets and readiness.
Key responsibilities
• Author, build, and publish web pages in Contentful CMS using approved templates, components, and assets. This includes copy updates, asset uploads/mapping, ROW (rest-of-world) page creation, UAT feedback incorporation, and content publication in Contentful.
• Assemble pages from reusable components and templates, working from component specs — inputs/props, default/loading/error states, content and asset expectations, and any constraints that impact CMS authoring.
• Own QA and publishing of authored pages before launch, contributing to a fully modular, scalable system that standardizes templates and reusable components with fewer custom builds.
• Support localization workflows — loc file creation, loc hand-off/hand-back.
• Incorporate copy-related SEO feedback into authored content. (Copy-related SEO feedback incorporation sits with the Authoring team.)
• Partner with front-end dev, design, and program management across content authoring and ops, program management, QA, and launch support for the web team.
Required skills & qualifications
• Hands-on Contentful authoring experience (primary requirement). Ability to author in Contentful is the core competency for this role.
• Component/template-based page building — comfort with creating a page from templates/components/assets/workflow, folder structure, and a high-level, non-technical understanding of APIs.
• Strong QA discipline and attention to detail through publishing.
• Familiarity with localization processes and rest-of-world page creation.
Working knowledge of on page/copy SEO best practices.
Name: What is the ideal background of a candidate for this role?
Value: 10+ years authoring web content in an enterprise/headless CMS (Contentful strongly preferred). Hands-on experience assembling pages from reusable components and templates in a component-driven/design-system environment (Storybook a plus), with a strong QA and web-publishing discipline — comfortable owning a page from build through publish. Familiarity with localization workflows and multi-market page creation, working knowledge of on-page SEO and accessibility standards, and a non-technical, working understanding of APIs and content modeling. Marketing or agency web-production background, able to work independently and juggle multiple concurrent launches. Strong attention to detail and comfort operating in a fast-moving, launch-driven environment.
Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each

1. 10 years of experience with contentful (or comparable headless CMS) authoring & publishing
2. 10 years of experience with component/template-based page building in a design-system environment (e.g., Storybook)
3. 10 years of experience with web content QA & publishing (link/asset validation, cross-browser/rendering checks, pre-publish review)
